Prospective students

We are the University of Oxford's ONLY official summer school programme for students studying in their first year of further education.

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic students from UK state schools to attend our free summer schools, which will take place in Oxford in July and August 2015. If you are selected to attend, you'll spend a week (Saturday to Friday) learning a subject in depth, on an academic course arranged by Oxford tutors and lecturers.

You’ll also get the opportunity to take part in a range of evening activities, designed to show off all the opportunities that the University and Oxford city can provide to its students.

You’ll learn about the application process at the University of Oxford and meet alumni of the University and current students. You’ll also stay in one of the colleges of the University of Oxford, giving you an opportunity to try out student life before making any big UCAS decisions!

How is UNIQ funded?

UNIQ is now funded directly by the University until 2016, this allows us to offer all places free of charge. Between 2009 and 2014 the summer schools were fully funded by the Helsington Foundation.
