Teachers

The UNIQ programme is designed to to meet the needs of students who may know very little about university and Oxford in particular. By attending your students can learn first hand what it is like to study at Oxford and find out if it is the right choice for them.

Feedback from past students is very positive, and those that go on to apply to the University have a 34% chance of being successful - to put this in perspective the UK average is just 20%.

Teachers play a vital role in encouraging students to apply for university and we are grateful to those who encourage students to apply for UNIQ. There are a number of ways that you can do this:

  • share our website, brochure and postcards with your students
  • use our promotional video for assemblies or presentations
  • connect with us via our social media platforms
  • spread the word amongst your colleagues

Every student that gains a place on UNIQ Spring or Summer will require a referee to confirm their details. This is normally a teacher or an individual within a college, who can confirm the students past exam results and corroborate any other information they have provided. Teachers will be contacted for a reference once places for UNIQ have been allocated.
