UNIQ 2023

What will I be doing on UNIQ 2023?

UNIQ offers a range of activities that will support your preparation for university applications. We also provide extra support on admissions tests and interview preparation for students who apply to Oxford.

MODULE 1- LET'S OXPLORE -  APRIL

Let’s Oxplore’s sessions are all about exploring a new subject, having some fun and learning to think like an Oxford student. Let’s Oxplore will help you build a portfolio of super-curricular activities that you can use in the future.

MODULE 2- OXFORD IS... -  MAY

Oxford is… activities are where you will find out more about what life as an Oxford student is really like. You will discover how Oxford is a place where you can be you, where you can try something new, or excel at your current talents, and where you can prepare for your future.

MODULE 3- ACADEMIC RESIDENTIAL/ONLINE COURSES - JUNE/JULY

Most UNIQ students will attend a four-day residential in Oxford, which will have an intensive academic focus. The UNIQ residential also gives you the chance to see what living in a college will be like. Our student ambassadors will also always be on hand to advise and support you.

Some UNIQ courses are more oversubscribed than university courses, so we will also offer 250 places on online academic courses to allow a greater number of students to participate in UNIQ. The online courses are designed to showcase the breadth of courses within a particular division allowing participants to make a decision on which course to study at Undergraduate level.

MODULE 4- ADMISSIONS - AUGUST TO DECEMBER

Applications to Oxford need to be submitted by mid-October. As part of our support, you will have the chance to pick the brains of our student ambassadors, as well as hear from academics about our admissions tests and interviews.

MODULE 5- OFFER HOLDER SUPPORT - LATE 2023/ EARLY 2024

We hope that your participation in this programme will help you gain an offer to study at the University of Oxford, and if you do, we will be here to support you through the transition to University life.
