Course description
This UNIQ course is a chance to explore your curiosity about the way computers and computer programs work whilst getting a taste for life as a student at the University of Oxford.
During the course you will be introduced to a variety of interesting topics, work on problems, and get advice on preparing for the Oxford admissions process. This will include getting tips on how to prepare for the Mathematical Admissions Test.
The undergraduate Computer Science course at Oxford University covers the theoretical principles that underpin current computing technology and considers how those principles relate to a wide range of software and hardware technologies. The UNIQ course will enable you to develop your mathematic ability and use these skills to reason about the behaviours of programs and computer systems in a developing field.
Additional requirements for this UNIQ course
You must be studying Maths to full A level or equivalent in order to apply for this course. If offered at your school, we would expect you to be studying Further Maths to full A level or equivalent.
