We’re pleased you’re applying for UNIQ! Applying should only take 15 minutes and we’ve outlined the 5-step process below.
Once you’ve started your application, you can save and come back to it but we recommend you try and finish in one sitting. You can only make one application and, if you make more than one, we’ll only look at the first one you submitted.
The deadline for applying is midday on Tuesday 13 January 2026
STEP 1: Read the selection criteria and entry requirements
- Before you start your application, make sure you have a read of the selection criteria to check that you’re eligible to apply for UNIQ.
- Check the course pages that you’re interested in to make sure you’re currently studying the required subjects and that you meet any grade restrictions that may be in place.
STEP 2: Create an account...
- Create an account using the Register button at the top of this webpage.
- Once you’ve done this, you must verify your account by checking your emails (including spam).
- Then you can start your application by logging in using the Applicant Login button at the top of this webpage.
- If you’re struggling to log in after you’ve registered, make sure you’re using an up to date web browser and that you’re not blocking cookies.
STEP 3: Have to hand...
- the name of the school where you did your GCSEs (or equivalent) if you are a student resident in England, Wales or Northern Ireland or your Nationals if you are a student resident in Scotland.
- the name of your current school.
- your first choice UNIQ course and your second choice UNIQ course.
- your teacher's surname and email address.
- a list of your qualifications.
STEP 4: Things to note...
- You must submit an application in full for it to be considered.
- You will NOT get a confirmation email once you have submitted an application, but will receive a reference number that you should take note of
- Remember to tell your referee that you have applied as we will contact them to verify your application. This may be before or after you've received a place.
- All information we require is contained within the application form. Do not send us any supporting documents.
- We’ll contact you or your referee if we need anything from you after you’ve submitted your application.
- Keep an eye on your inbox for emails from us.
- Once we let you know the outcome of your application (likely around February), you'll need to confirm that you plan to participate in the programme by a certain date if you've received a place.

- We can not answer questions on applicants chances of success. It is impossible for us to know until we see all the data for all the applicants
